Lord, Your form is all beautiful because you are the master of the goddess of fortune. You reside in the ocean of milk, and You carry the Sudarshana disc in Your hand. Your all-auspicious form is made even more resplendent by the jewel-like body of Anantadeva, the king of serpents upon whom You rest. You are the eternal deliverer from the ocean of birth and death for all those who seek Your shelter and You are the master of all mystics. O Lakshmi-Nrisimha, please bless me with the touch of Your lotus hands. - Adi Shankaracharya

last night i saw a dream where i went to kamalaksa's place for the narasimha chaturdasi and when i entered there everyone were really sad looking.then i asked "why are you all so sad???"
then they answered "we are sad cause this year lord lakshmi-narasimhadeva didnt give us darshan!" then i checked out the altar and there was empty place between sri sri gaura-nitai...i tought why isnt lord lakshmi-narasimha with me?why did i forget him?

i think this dream was his way to inform me that i definetly have to go the narasimha chaturdasi fest and bring him with me so he can give darshan to the devotees!

lord lakshmi-narasimhadeva ki-JAY!!!

"My dear Lord Nityananda, You are always joyful in spiritual bliss. Since You always appear very happy, I have come to You because I am most unhappy. If You kindly put Your glance over me, then I may also become happy."

When Lord Ramacandra, the Supreme Personality of Godhead,
was the King of this world,
all bodily and mental suffering, disease, old age, bereavement,
lamentation, distress, fear and fatigue were completely absent.
There was even no death for those who did not want it.

srila prabhupada's purport:
All these facilities existed because of Lord Ramacandra's
presence as the King of the entire world. A similar situation could be introduced
immediately, even in this age called Kali, the worst of all ages. It is said,
kali-kale nama-rupe krishna-avatara: Krishna descends in this
Kali-yuga in the form of His holy name -- Hare Krishna, Hare Rama.
If we chant offenselessly, Rama and Krishna are still present in this age.
The kingdom of Rama was immensely popular and beneficial,
and the spreading of this Hare Krishna movement can immediately
introduce a similar situation, even in this Kali-yuga.
